Connect an Ethernet cable from the Ethernet jack (10Base-T) of the DSL modem to the WAN jack of the babyBOX. [See Figure 1: Cables for a view of the various cables.] Connect a second Ethernet cable from the ENET jack of the babyBOX to the Ethernet jack (also called Network Jack) of the computer. -

Connect your telephone set to the PHONE1 jack of the babyBOX. Plug the AC adapter that came with the babyBOX into a wall socket, or preferably, into a surge-protected power bar. Automatic Updates Automatic Updates From time to time babyTEL may need to download updates to your babyBOX in order to keep your system current. This procedure is completely automatic and requires no action on your part. CAUTION During a download, which may take up to two minutes, the lights on your babyBOX may flicker.
