11 OCCuPANT CLAssIFICATION sYsTEm
PAssENGER AIR BAG OFF INDICATOR
The indicator will illuminate for
approximately 4 seconds when you turn
the ignition key to "ON" or "START."
The light will not illuminate when the
passenger's air bag is enabled. Refer

to the Owners' Manual for a complete
description of this system.
NOTE: The driver's air bag and the
driver's side impact air bag are not part
of the occupant classification system.

(if equipped)
To reverse, lift the ring located
immediately below the shift knob
and shift into reverse gear position.
10 AuXILIARY INPuT (if equipped)
You can connect a portable music
device to the auxiliary jack and hear
the music stored on it through the
vehicle speakers. Press the CD/AUX
button on the radio controls to
select the auxiliary mode.

Normal forward driving is done
with the shift lever in the D (Drive)
position. To move the shift lever
from the P (Park) position, the
brake pedal must be depressed.
