Flammable materials should not be present within approximately 60 cm of the top, bottom, back
or sides of the grill.
Joita's gas grill should not be used by children.
Accessible parts of the grill may be very hot.
Keep young children away while it is in use.
It will be hot during cooking and should never be left unattended or moved while in operation.
Do not store spare liquid butane/propane cartridge/cylinder within 3m of this appliance.
Do not store or use petrol or other flammable liquids or vapors within 8m of this appliance.
If the burners should go out during cooking, turn off all gas valves.
Wait five minutes before attempting to re-light the gas flame, while observing the "Lighting
"instructions.
Should an uncontrolled flare-up occur, move food away from the flames until flaring subsides.
Should a grease fire occur, turn off all burners and extinguish the flames.
Under no circumstances should you attempt to disconnect the gas regulator or any gas fitting
while your grill is in operation.
Use heat-resistant oven gloves when operating grill.
Do not use this grill unless all parts are in place.
DANGER
If you smell gas shut off gas to the appliance.
Extinguish any open flames.
If odor continues, keep away from the appliance and immediately call your gas supplier or your
fire service.
Leaking gas may cause a fire or explosion, which can cause serious bodily injury or death, or
damage to property
OPERATING
The control knobs have 3 positions
Vertical ;OFF position

Anti-clock wise horizontal position ON/MAX
2-
Anti-clock wise 180 degrees ON/LOW

To light the grill: Joita's griller has 2 ceramic burners, 1 on each side of the casing.
Push in and turn knob anti clock wise to the ON position and light one burner at a time with a
match or a lighter, using the orifice on the front of the griller.
The burners operate separately.
Adjust knobs to required cooking temperature. (HIGH MEDIUM OR LOW)
CLEANING
This griller should be cleaned after each use.
Turn your Joita's gas griller OFF and wait for it to cool before cleaning.
Outside surfaces - Use a good stainless steel cleaner.
Inside surfaces – Brush any grease with soft steel brush.
Never clean or touch the ceramic burners at any time. It might damage the burners and void
any warranties.
Remove remaining water from the grease tray and clean with warm water and degreaser.
Wash the food grid with warm water and dish washing liquid.
Ventilation is vital for the efficient performance of all appliances ad for the safety of the
occupants of the room in which the appliance is installed
