Adjusting a Headlight
NOTICE
It is recommended to have the
headlight adjustment performed
by a Yamaha dealer.
1. Loosen the two screws 1 for
the headlight bulb bracket. Do
not remove the screws, just
loosen them.
TIP
The screws can be accessed from
under the fender through the access
holes on the sides of the headlight
bezel.

2. Using a Phillips head
screwdriver, turn the adjusting
screw 2. Turning the screw
clockwise will lower the beam
and turning the screw counter-
clockwise will raise the beam.
3. Once the correct adjustment has
been made, tighten the screws 1
to 3 ~ 4.5 Nm, 0.3 ~ 0.45 m•kg
(27 ~ 40 in•lb).
Replacing a Taillight
Bulb
1. If a taillight bulb burns out,
replace the bulb assembly 1 by
removing the rubber grommet 2
from the bezel assembly 3.
2. Remove the wire connector,
replace the bulb, and reinstall by
fitting the rubber grommet 2
over the bulb assembly 1 and
