Page 4 USING THE BACKLIGHT You may check the time or temperature any time in the dark by simply pressing the BACKLIGHT button once. The display will light up with a soft blue glow that lasts for approximately 3 seconds. INSERTING THE BATTERIES Slide the cover of the battery compartment open, and place two AAA batteries, checking the battery polarities as indicated.
