CONNECTING POWER Plug the small end of the supplied power adapter into the DC IN jack at the back of the unit, plug the adapter body into the standard AC wall socket. CAUTION: The unit is designed to operate from a mains supply of AC 120V~60Hz. If the adapter does not fit properly, turn it over and again.
SETTING THE CLOCK (Cont’d) TO SET THE DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME (DST) 1. Depending on your location and the period of Daylight Saving Time (DST) to be in effective during summer, you can manually set the daylight saving time by sliding the DST switch on the unit to +1 position to advance the clock by one hour.

INSTALLING / REPLACING BACKUP BATTERY BATTERY LOW INDICATOR When the backup battery power is low, the low battery indication icon will display and blink. It is time to replace the backup battery. TO INSTALL / REPLACE BACKUP BATTERY 1. Make sure the AC adaptor is connected during battery replacement. Otherwise, all settings may be lost and reset.
