To make PC software use the RIGblaster (instead of the computer sound card) simply configure the software to use the for both playback and recording. Most modern radios have a CAT jack and with very few exceptions the RIGblaster Blue can be connected to this via an optional cable for full computer control. The CAT jack on your radio is a serial interface (using TxD/RxD) which can receive instructions and send information back to your computer to be used with suitable software.
A write mode contains a '=' followed by a value – this will write the new value to the RIGblaster Blue. A read mode instead contains a '?' at the end, at which point the RIGblaster Blue will display the current value.
