    To prevent a possible transient voltage surge it advised to disconnect the vehicle battery. Disconnect the ground (-) cable/terminal. Please note warranty does not cover damage from a transient voltage surge. ® Securely attach the 10 Pin connector plug into the DEFENDER module. Locate the Red cable/wire found on the 10 pin connector.

    GPS Antenna Placement The DEFENDER® will work best if the GPS antenna has a clear view of the sky and as much of the horizon as possible. Any metal between the GPS antenna and the satellites will degrade the signal and reduce the overall performance.
