To prevent a possible transient voltage surge it advised to disconnect the vehicle battery. Disconnect the ground (-) cable/terminal. Please note warranty does not cover damage from a transient voltage surge. ® Securely attach the 10 Pin connector plug into the DEFENDER module. Locate the Red cable/wire found on the 10 pin connector. -

GPS Antenna Placement The DEFENDER® will work best if the GPS antenna has a clear view of the sky and as much of the horizon as possible.
