Installing Battery in Remote Control

The Wadia 171iTransport remote control will ship with the required battery
preinstalled. However, you will need to remove the clear plastic insert tab from
the battery to allow operation of the remote.

NConnecting to AC Power

Check to make sure that the power cord shipped with your Wadia 171iTransport
has been manufactured for operation at your AC line voltage. Damage caused
by improper operation is not covered by Wadia warranty. If the included cable
and wall termination is different from your AC outlet, contact your Wadia dealer.
NInstalling and Removing the iPhone & iPad Adapter Cable
The Wadia 171iTransport comes with a special adapter cable for use with the
iPhone and iPad. The adapter is pre-installed on the 171iTransport. While primarily
used for the iPhone and iPad, users may connect any Apple music device to the
transport through the adapter cable.
aution: The adapter can be removed, but is not designed for regular
removal. If you must remove the adapter, pull up on the back section of
the flat plastic connector on top of the iTransport. Do not pull on the
cable. Removing the adapter reveals a typical iPod docking well.
To re-attach the adapter cable, locate two small tabs on the front of the flat
connector portion of the adapter. Also, note two corresponding grooves on the
front inside portion of the docking well. Angle the front part of the adapter so
the front slides into the well. Make sure the tabs firmly seat inside the grooves
