    Voxell LCR , to achieve minimum costs. If it is for the fixed telephony network, it will be routed instead to the PSTN, via the FXO interface of Voxell LCR. In this way, the fixed-to- mobile calls are converted into mobile-to-mobile calls. Thus you will pay only the mobile-to-mobile cost.

    The default value of equipment PIN CODE is 1234, if you want to change it use the OAM application. If the check box „Change PIN Code” is enable, Voxell LCR will generated a new PIN Code, nown for user, which prevents using the SIM card on another terminal, so we recommend you disable this option.

    INSTALLATION MANUAL Inserting the SIM card 3.1.2 The SIM card must be inserted into the special slot (holder) of Voxell LCR. The slot of SIM card is located on top right side, under the status LED`s. For inserting or extracting the SIM card use the mobile holder for SIM.
  • Page 11 When the Voxell LCR equipment is powered and includes a SIM card that has the „PIN CODE REQUEST” option enabled, Voxell LCR will send to SIM card the code that was stored. If this code is different from the SIM code, Voxell LCR switches into the mode of “waiting for PIN code” from the telephone interface.

    3.2 Connecting the equipment Labels and identifiers 3.2.1 On the bottom of the case of the Voxell LCR equipment there are glued several labels or tags that show the characteristics and compliance. 3.2.2 Significance of Labels These adhesive labels contain information about the manufacturer, type, model, certification, approval, compliance to international and UE directives.

    ! Improper installing the Voxell LCR equipment might lead to damage of equipment or PBX exchange. (If you join a local line of PBX exchange to the FxS connector of Voxell LCR, then both equipments will generate current into the connection cable, in this way Voxell LCR and PBX exchange may be damaged).

Note: The same USB connection has a double function: for data transfer (connecting to Internet) and for Voxell LCR configuration by means the OAM application.

    Topex. On the back there is a pair of mounting holes, 55 mm apart. The pair is located near the top of the plastic case, to secure the Voxell LCR to the wall with indicators up and connector’s panel downwards.

    Voxell LCR and its belonging cables and accessories. A desk, a table or a shelf is suited for mounting Voxell LCR FXS. To benefit of the best performances you should place the equipment upper, in an area without obstacles.

    Check if the Voxell LCR equipment is properly connected with the PC and is powered up; First you have to install the USB driver for the Voxell LCR equipment. This interface can be used for data transfer and also for configuring the equipment (with the OAM application).

    The installation of USB driver 6.1.1 Before you plug the USB cable connected to Voxell LCR into the PC, you should install the USB driver. Do not let the operating system detect automatically new hardware equipment, install it yourself. For this, insert the CD-ROM supplied by Topex into the drive and start the application „PL-2303 Driver Installer.exe”.

  • Page 38 Voxell LCR transmits the numbering and makes the link with mobile network. You have the option „ON or OFF” for audio tone for dialing. In this last case the Voxell LCR equipment do not offers audio tone, but still takes over and sends the detected digits.

    INSTALLATION MANUAL Achieving test calls It is recommended to make first some test call, for verifying if Voxell LCR equipment is operating correctly. For Voxell LCR connected to PBX trunk Incoming call Ring, from a mobile phone, to the number of SIM card used by Voxell LCR. The Interface diverts the call and sends the ringing signal to trunk of PBX exchange.

    PIN code is sent wrong for three times in a row, the SIM card will become blocked and request the PUK code to unlock! To enter the codes you can use an analogue phone, which is connected to the Voxell LCR through the FxS interface. The phone must allow you to dial digits in DMTF mode (tones). Also the FxS interface of Voxell LCR must be activated.

    Voxell LCR is connected, anyone who calls the mobile number of the Voxell LCR from a public network will get the right to access the outgoing lines of the PBX exchange.

Since Voxell LCR is connected to a local extension via FXS, for the PABX this is the same as if it were a local call! If the setting is DISA, the caller gets a DISA tone and he can dial any local subscriber he wishes.

    INSTALLATION MANUAL 7.7.6.2 FXS Settings The FXS interface is associated with a direction name (trunk 2 typically), it is relevant for a call coming in DISA mode either from the GSM module or from the interface 7.7.6.3 FXO Settings For the FXO interface, the settings for routing are: Action, select either enables DISA that makes use of dialing in by using DTMF, or uses a target.

    LEDs and is also signaled by different tones that you hear in the handset of the phone connected to Voxell LCR FXS. Out of these, the LED indicators are the most important, since they are always available to give you useful information about the state of the Topex box! 8.1.

    You can either use the PBX exchange option to route automatically the calls depending on the prefix, or set up Voxell LCR to perform this routing for minimum costs. This way any call towards a mobile telephone will be transmitted through the trunk that has installed the Voxell LCR equipment.
