The power for this DVR is provided by a DC12V/3A power adapter. Please check
the power outlet before installation and ensure that it can meet the requirements
of the adaptor;

Do not place the DVR in a location where it is subject to rain or moisture;

Do not install the DVR in a location where it is subject to violent vibration;

Do not install the DVR in a location where it is subjected to direct sunlight. Keep
the DVR away from any heat source or high temperature environment;

The back panel should be at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from the wall or other
objects to facilitate fan cooling operation;

The DVR should be operated within the temperature, humidity, and voltage
requirements listed in the technical specifications;

Keep the DVR away from corrosive chemicals that may produce volatile gases;

The DVR should be operated in low-dust environments and the area around the
DVR should be kept clean and tidy;

The DVR should be properly grounded;
For best results, install a SATA hard drive into the DVR to store large amount of
video content generated by the security system.
