TO ATTACH BOWL
* Be sm_ speed control is OFE
* Place bowl lift handle in down position.
* Fit bowl supports over locating pins.
* P_wssdown on back of bowl until bowl
pin snaps into spring latch.
* Sit pouring shiekl on bowl.
, Raise bowl befb_ mixing.
NOTE: Check that bo_d and pouring shiekl
are properly in place (5KPM5 models).
TO REMOVE BOWL
* Place bowl lift handle in down position.
, Grasp bowl handle and lift straight up
and off locating pins.
TO ATTACH FLAT BEATER,
WIRE WHIP, OR DOUGH HOOK
* Turnspeed controlto OFF and unplug.
* Lowerbowlby rotatingbowl lifthandle
dowmvard.
* Slip fiat beater on beater shaft and p_ss
upwa_0as fhr as possible.
* Turnbeater to right, hookingbeater over
file pin on shaft.
TO REMOVE FLAT BEATER,
WIRE WHIP, OR DOUGH HOOK
* Turnspeed controlto OFF and unplug.
* Lowerbowlby rotatingbowl lifthandle
dowmvard.

and turn left.
* Pull
beater fi'om beater shaft.
TO RAISE BOWL
* Rotatehandle back and up until it snaps
into the locked vertical position.
* Bowlmust alwaysbe in raised, locked
positionwhenmixing.
TO LOWER BOWL
* Rotatehandle back and down.
TO OPERATE CONTROLSPEED
* Speed contM lever shouldalwaysbe set
on lowestspeedfbr s[a_ting,the_l
gradually movedto desiwd higher speed
to avoidsplashing ingwdientsout of
bowl.See "Speed ContM Guide."
OVERLOAD RESET BUTTON

* If the mixeris overloaded,the OveAoad
Reset Buttonwill pop outand the mixer
will shut oil Turnthe Speed ContM
Lever to OFE _ait a |b_ minutes, then
push in the OverloadReset Button.Turn
file Speed ControlLeverto the desiwd
speed and continue mixing.
