Using SCN (Scene) modes

1 Turn the Mode dial to SCN (Scene).
2 Press
3 Press OK to choose the Scene mode that you've highlighted.

Candle Light

Bright
Fireworks
Self-Portrait
Night Portrait
Night Landscape Distant scenery at night. Flash does not fire.

Distant scenes.
Close range.
Subjects at dusk.
Subjects that are in shadow or "backlit."
Subjects illuminated by candle light.
Action pictures of children in bright light.
Bright beach or snow scenes.

Close-ups of yourself.
Reduces red eye.
People on a lit stage.
People indoors, in low-light scenes.
"Stitching" 2 or 3 pictures into 1 panoramic
scene.
