IMPORTANT SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
MAGNIFYING LAMP USE AND CARE
 Do not modify the magnifying lamp in any way. Unauthorized modification may impair
the function and/or safety and could affect the life of the equipment. There are specific
applications for which the magnifying lamp was designed.
 Always check of damaged or worn out parts before using the magnifying lamp.
Broken parts will affect the magnifying lamp operation. If repairs are needed, consult a
qualified electrician.
 Store idle magnifying lamp. When magnifying lamp is not in use, store it in a secure place
out of the reach of children. Inspect it for good working condition prior to storage and before
reuse.
Use 13W CFL Type bulb or 60W (Maximum) Incandescent A Type bulb.
 This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other), as a feature to
reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter
the plug.
OPERATION
1. How to use:
Clamp the bracket to the edge of any horizontal surface. Insert the bottom stem of the arm into
the hole in the bracket. Plug in the magnifier lamp.
2. Changing the fluorescent tube:
Switch off the magnifier lamp and take out the plug. Take off the transparent tube protection
cover. Replace the fluorescent tube with a new one. Put on the tube protection cover.
3. Important for safe use
1) This magnifying lamp is intended for indoor use only.
2) Lamp can operate in temperatures of 23°F–104°F.
3) Avoid humidity levels greater than 95%.
4) Never disassemble the magnifier lamp unless you are a qualified electrician.
5) Plug must be taken out while repairing the magnifier lamp.
