Calibration is not required before first use. Only calibrate if scale is not weighing properly. M-50 - uses a 50g calibration weight M-100 - uses a 100g calibration weight M-250 - uses a 200g calibration weight M-500 - uses a 500g calibration weight M-100 Calibration Method 1.

3. Release the [POWER/TARE] key and [MODE] keys. 4. Press the [POWER/TARE] key again. The display will show AL 0 followed by the required calibration weight. Place the required weight on the scale. 5. Once the scale is stable, the LCD will display AL F. Calibration is complete! V. TROUBLESHOOTING The primary reasons for inaccuracy or malfunction are low batteries, incorrect calibration, overload or operating on an unstable surface. Please keep this in mind and maintain and operate your scale properly. This scale is a precise instrument and must be handled with the utmost care and caution.
