Install Your Powerline Adapter The following procedure describes how to add a Powerline adapter to your existing Powerline network. Repeat this procedure for each Powerline adapter that you want to add. To add a Powerline adapter to your existing Powerline network: Plug your Powerline adapter into a power outlet.

Connect devices to your Powerline adapter. You can connect a device, such as a router or a computer, to the Ethernet port on the bottom of the Powerline adapter.
