21. Do not leave this appliance unattended during use. Always unplug the unit when not in use
or before cleaning.
22. Always operate the appliance on a smooth, even, stable surface. Do not place the unit on a
hot surface.
23. Ensure that the switch is in the "Off" position after each use.
24. The manufacturer does not accept responsibility for any damage or injury caused by
improper or incorrect use, or for repairs carried out by unauthorised personnel.
25. In case of technical problems, switch off the machine and do not attempt to repair it
yourself. Return the appliance to an authorised service facility for examination, adjustment
or repair. Always insist on the use of original spare parts. Failure to comply with the above
mentioned pre-cautions and instructions, could affect the safe operation of this machine.
26. When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water
presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off.
27. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuiting the
bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels
containing water.

ADDITIONAL SAFEGUARDS

1. Never connect the dryer to incorrect voltage.
2. Never cover or obstruct the air inlet and outlet when in use.
3. The hair dryer is protected against overheating. It will automatically shut off when overheated
and will start again once it has cooled down.
4. When the hair dryer shuts off automatically due to overheating and you don't need to use it
again switch off and remove the plug from the socket to ensure safety.
5. Do not put the air outlet too close to your hair.
6. Switch off the hair dryer for lengthy breaks in the drying process and disconnect it after use.
