    Phone at a Glance Installing the SIM Card There are two steps to install the SIM card: Remove the battery cover. Insert the SIM card. (Optional) Installing the microSD Card If you want to expand your phone memory, you can also insert a microSD card.

    Remove the battery cover. Insert the microSD card into the card slot as shown in the diagram. Do not insert or remove the SIM/USIM or microSD card when the phone is powered on as it may damage your phone. Removing the microSD card when the phone is running will also cause the phone to automat ically shut down.

    Charging the Battery Before charging the battery, ensure that it has been properly installed on your phone. Connect the charger to USB cable. Connect the charger to a power outlet. Connect the USB cable to the phone to start charging. If your phone is powered on, the battery icon on the notification bar displays the charging status.
