When all the connections are fixed, you can then turn on the power of your related equipment. Making an OPTICAL S/PDIF Connection Step 1: Please slide the switch at the side of the converter to OPTICAL.

Step 2: Take a coaxial S/PDIF cable (not included) and connect one end to the converter input labeled COAXIAL. Connect the other end of the cable to the COAXIAL Out of your audio / video equipment or device.
