IR-KIT-36/56K Repeater System
Thank you for purchasing the Factor Electronics IR-KIT-36/56K which can be
used to controlling up to 8 IR-controllable A/V devices behind using your
existing IR remote controls.

INSTALLATION DIAGRAM & MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS:
MOUNTING INSTRUCTION
(Refer to the installation diagram):
Mount the IR-CONN-BLK IR connecting box behind AV devices and near an AC

outlet.
Connect the IR receiver IR-REP-36/56K to the IR-CONN-BLK connecting box.

Position the IR receivers in a location which is "line of sight" to your IR remote
controls.
Plug the IR-2-FLASH emitters into the IR-CONN-BLK connecting box and

attach the emitter directly on top of the component's IR sensors.
The IR-PWR-12V/500 power DC adaptor plugs into a voltage compliant AC

outlet and connects to the "POWER" receptacle of the IR-CONN-BLK
connecting box. Make sure the POWER LED indicator is "ON green" to confirm
The unit is ready for operation.

NOTE:
If a power supply is not connected to the status power receptacle on the

IR-CONN-BLK connecting box, the status LED's will not function. The status
power adaptor is not included in this kit. However the IR will function.
