The function of camera button can be changed.

In Shooting mode, press [MENU].

- Setting to AEL executes only the
auto exposure lock function.
- Setting to AFL executes only the
auto focus lock function.
AEL
- Setting to AEL + AFL executes
the auto exposure/focus lock
functions together.
This sets the action executed when
pressing the depth preview button.
- Setting to the one-touch white
balance executes the user-
defined function of white balance.
Preview
- Setting to Optical Preview
executes the depth preview
function of current aperture value.
• While shooting a movie, push the [Depth
Preview] button once to activate the AF
function and once again to cancel the function.
• Refer to the "Depth Preview" function. (p. 36)
• The function of AEL button cannot be changed
in the M(manual) mode.
What is AEL function?
The auto exposure lock (AEL) and auto focus lock (AFL)
functions of the camera are the functions that maintain the
settings until the shooting is completed by remembering the
exposure value and focus when pushing the [AEL] button of
