    OPERATION GUIDELINES INTRODUCTION Tagine is a centuries old, North African method of cooking. The distinctive conical cover shape is designed so that all the condensation during cooking goes back into the food – thereby preserving moisture and flavours. BEFORE FIRST USE Unpack the product and remove all packaging.
  • Page 7 MOROCCAN TAGINE RECIPE 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 large onions, peeled and sliced into rings 1kg lamb meat, cut into 4cm cubes 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon ground coriander seed 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon salt to taste 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 4 apples (or pears) - peeled, cored and cut into 4cm chunks 80g sultanas (optional)
  • Page 8 CLEANING Unplug from mains and allow to cool sufficiently before cleaning. Hand wash container and cover as soon after use as possible. Both the cover and container are OK to put in the dishwasher. Due to the unusual shape and weight distribution of the lid, take extra care when handling.
