STEP 1: SETTING UP YOUR HEADSET
Soundshield Wireless o ers the choice of two wearing
styles - Headband and Earhook.
Option 1: Attaching the Headband
1.
Align the headset and the headband attachment, as
illustrated, and press firmly together until they click
into place.
2. Rotate the microphone boom arm for left or right
ear use.
3. Adjust the length of the headband to fit comfortably
against your head.

STEP 1: SETTING UP YOUR HEADSET Option 2: Attaching the Earhook Align the headset and the earhook attachment, as illustrated, and insert the earhook into the earhook slot. 2. Slide the headset over the top of your ear. CLICK! Left Ear Right Ear... - Page 3 STEP 2: CONNECTING YOUR SOUNDSHIELD WIRELESS TO MAINS POWER Plug the supplied power adapter into the Power port on the Soundshield Wireless base. 2. Connect the other end of the power adapter to a mains power socket and turn on the power point.
- Page 4 STEP 3: DOCKING YOUR SOUNDSHIELD WIRELESS HEADSET Dock the headset, as illustrated. When the headset is docked correctly the headset battery will begin charging. Note: Remember to keep the headset docked while connecting the Soundshield Wireless headset, and when not in use.
- Page 5 STEP 4 Option 1: Connecting your Soundshield Wireless to a desk-phone with a dedicated headset port If your desk-phone includes a dedicated headset port, complete the following: Plug the supplied tail cord into the Phone port on the Soundshield Wireless base.
- Page 6 STEP 4 Option 2: Connecting your Soundshield Wireless to a desk-phone without a headset port If your desk-phone does not include a dedicated headset port, complete the following: On the desk-phone, unplug the handset cable from the telephone. 2. Connect the handset cable to the Handset port on the Soundshield Wireless base.
- Page 7 STEP 5: CONNECTING YOUR SOUNDSHIELD WIRELESS TO A PC Plug the supplied USB cable into the PC port on the Soundshield Wireless headset base. 2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to any free USB slot on your PC.
