Turn on the unit by pressing the STANDBY button.
If you are not already in TUNER mode, press the MODE button and select Tuner mode.
If the FM station you have selected is broadcasting in stereo, "ST" will appear in the display.
To choose between stereo and mono playback, press the STEREO / MONO button on the remote.
Repeatedly press the SKIP UP + or SKIP DOWN – button to manually advance the frequency on the display
up or down until the desired frequency appears.
For AUTO TUNING, press and hold the SKIP UP + or SKIP DOWN – button until the frequency in the display
starts to scan and then release. The tuner will search and then stop on the next strong signal
station it nds. Repeat this step until the desired frequency appears on the display.
note: Unravel and extend the FM wire antenna for best reception.

Follow the steps in the previous section to tune a station. Press the PROGRAM / CLOCK SET button;
"MEM" will appear and "Pr 01" will blink in the display (if no presets have ever been set).
Within ve seconds, press the PRESET + or PRESET – button to select a desired preset number (01-20).
Press the PROGRAM / CLOCK SET button again to con rm the setting and the station will be saved
into memory.
Repeat these steps for up to 20 presets, as desired.
For AUTO PRESETS: press and hold the PROGRAM / CLOCK SET button, "MEM" and "AUTO" will
appear in the display, the station will automatically be saved into memory (from Pr 01 to Pr 20).

Turn the unit on and switch to TUNER mode.
Press the PRESET + or – button repeatedly to retrieve the desired preset station.
