INTRODUCTION This SureShot™ Wireless Remote Controller is an RF wireless control system based on the LINX chipset. The handheld remote has a transmission range of up to 750 feet and can be set to any of 16,777,216 unique addresses. It uses a single 3V CR2032 lithium button power cell.
SureShot™ Wireless Controller must be taught that new address. Changing the handheld transmitter’s address is accomplished by using a paperclip or probe to press the CREATE button on the board, through the hole in the back of the transmitter’s case.

TEACHING SURESHOT RACK MOUNTED CONTROLLER The decoder inside the rack mounted unit must learn the new address before it will accept any transmissions. To teach the decoder the address of the transmitter the unit needs to be put into the “learn” mode. To the right of the power LED on the front panel of the rack mounted unit is a small hole (see graphic).
PROGRAMMING SURESHOT RACK MOUNTED CONTROLLER As delivered, the 4 relays are set for momentary operation and the serial data strings are NULL. The SureShot™ Controller is programmed using the Windows graphical user interface (GUI) software, which is included. Run the install program from the enclosed CD on any Windows-based PC.
RELAY PROGRAMMING Each relay can be set to one of three operating modes: momentary, latched or pulsed. In momentary mode, the relay closes when the corresponding key is pressed on the handheld transmitter and remains closed for as long as the key is pressed. In latched mode, the relay alternately closes and opens.
Because serial devices operate on byte-by-byte transmission, you should never encounter the need to input a value larger than 255. The data string associated with each key is stored in the SureShot™ Controller exactly as it is entered in the GUI’s text...

When programming is compete, click on the SAVE button on the upper right hand corner of the GUI. The data will be sent to the SureShot™ Controller. After the Controller saves the data, a confirmation is sent back to the Windows software and a “Data Saved”...
