    Getting Started ARDWARE VERVIEW The Farallon Ethernet ISA Card is a Plug & Play Ethernet card that features the most advanced NE2000 compatible adapter design. The card also supports the full duplex operation that makes your 10Mbps local area network to become 20 Mbps when used with an Ethernet Switch, such as Farallon’s Starlet Switch 10/100.

    1. Turn off the computer and remove its cover. 2. Insert the card into an ISA slot. 3. Secure the card to the computer chassis and replace the computer cover. 4. Connect the Farallon Ethernet ISA Card to the network.

    Chapter 2 RIVER NSTALLATION Farallon offers two ways to install the necessary driver for use with the Ethernet ISA Card: 1. You can use the NE2000 drivers provided by the Network operating system. Simply follow the directions provided on the screen after the card is recognized.

    Note: You only need to set the jumper when the card is in jumper mode. The Farallon Ethernet ISA Card can be configured using either jumper settings or software. Please refer to the table below for detail description of jumper usage.
