Checking the tyres

6.1.2.1 Checking the position of the valve

As a result of stresses and strains and low tyre pressure, the tyre and inner tube
can move on the rim and result in incorrect positioning of the valves. The valve
base may tear off during the journey and result in a sudden loss of pressure in
the tyre.
1. Remove the valve nut.
2. Check the valve position:
The valves must be pointing towards the middle of the wheel.
