Gear shift, drive

Malfunction
Gears do not change or do
not change smoothly
Drive blocks during
or after gear shifting
Unusual noise such as
cracking, loud grinding
and/or banging
Irregular resistance during
the pedal movements

Shift lever not actuated
correctly
Shift mechanism
maladjusted
In the case of steep
inclinations, excessive
pressure on the pedal
and/or pedalling
movement too slow
Chain jamming
Drive/gearing components
damaged
Drive/gearing components

Remedy
Actuate the lever again
Contact your specialist bicycle
dealer.
Repeat the gear shifting procedure
on flat terrain.
Changing gear while stationary:
Lift the rear wheel.
Turn the crank in the drive
direction until the desired gear
is engaged.
Leave the bicycle where it is.
Make sure the EPAC cannot move
off. To do this, switch off the
electric drive
(see attached BOSCH original
operating instructions).
Actuate the gear lever in the
opposite direction.
Lift the rear wheel.
if the following is possible
without force:
turn the crank in the drive
direction.
NOTE:
Under no circumstances should
you apply force if the crank
cannot be easily turned.
Contact your specialist bicycle
workshop immediately.
Contact your specialist bicycle
dealer immediately.
