  • Page 4: Unpacking Your Md 209 Hybrid Audio Receiver

    Carefully remove the MD 209 Hybrid Audio Receiver from the end caps and wrapping, inspect all sides. Pay special attention to the corresponding areas on the unit where damage was found to the shipping carton.

    5. Connect your FM antenna cable to the ANTENNA IN terminal on the rear panel of the MD 209 Hybrid Audio Receiver. The connector on the rear of the unit is an “F” type (75 ohms) connector. Should your antenna cable be the 300 ohm twin lead you may convert to 75 ohm using a 300 to 75 ohm balum/transformer.

    Approximately 48 hours of “burn in” should eliminate any measure of drifting that you may encounter with the tuner section of the MD 209 Hybrid Audio Receiver.     To Connect to a Home Theater Processor 1. Turn off all the power to the receiver. Unplug the power cord to the MD 209 Hybrid Audio Receiver.

    1. Connect an external source to the USB or either coaxial inputs. 2. Adjust the input on the MD 209 Hybrid Audio Receiver by using the input button on the front of the unit or by using the RC4 remote as outlined on page 10.
