  • Page 5 GLASS LINED Connection to Automatic Pressure Pump WATER HEATER The heater can be connected to an automatic pump system also, provided the line pressure does not exceed the rated pressure as given in the name plate sticker of the water heater. On connecting an automatic pump to the water heater, the Multi Function Valve(MFV) may drip during the usage of the heater.

    GLASS LINED Switch. Connect Red wire to Phase, Black wire to Neutral and Green wire WATER HEATER to earth terminal of the plug. A separate fuse can be provided as an addi- tional safety feature. Fig : 3 Wiring Diagram IV.
  • Page 7 GLASS LINED B. Using the heater regularly : WATER HEATER Always keep the inlet valve open so that water drawn from the hot wa- ter tap is automatically replace from the mains. Switch “ON” the Heater. The Red color indicator will glow, indicating that the heater is working.

  • Page 12 GLASS LINED WATER HEATER Scale formation can be prevented by operating in SMART Mode, Scale (calcium deposits) forms on top of the heating element when water is heated above 50ºC. When the temperature does not cross 40ºC Scale does not form. This can prolong the operating life of the heating element substantially as well as avoid wastage of power.
