PSR-280/PSR-282 NOTE: *1 By default (factory settings) the PSR-280 ordinarily functions as a 16-channel multi-timbral tone generator, and incoming data does not affect the panel voices or panel settings. However, the MIDI messages listed below do affect the panel voices, auto accompaniment, and songs.
PSR-280/PSR-282 Effect map If the received value does not contain an effect type in the TYPE LSB, the LSB will be directed to TYPE 0. The numbers in parentheses in front of the Effect Type names correspond to the number indicated in the display. By using an external sequencer, which is capable of editing and transmitting the system exclusive messages and parameter changes, you can select the Reverb, Chorus and DSP effect types which are not accessible from the PSR-280/PSR-282 panel itself.
