The cardboard template is the same size as the L5 basket. After marking your baffle with the template, make sure to cut directly on the line. This will maintain the proper baffle cut-out size for the L5 basket. -

Solo-Baric L5 Sealed Enclosure Applications The Kicker Solo-Baric L5 is designed to give more output than an equivalent round speaker and excels when used in the recommended sealed boxes.
