Installation Instructions

If your model has a dryer base, to mount it to the wall you
will need a pencil, hand drill,
screwdriver.
wWARNING
Shock Hazard
To reduce the risk of death by electric shock, do not
install unit where it can fall into or reach a tub, sink, toilet,
or shower.
1. Select a location on the wall that is not
more than three feet from an electrical
outlet and away from any plumbing or
electric wiring in the wall. Be sure to select
a wall area that is at least 4

2. Using the dryer base as a guide, mark
two hole locations on the wall.
3. Drill two 1 ⁄ " holes at the marked locations

and insert the two anchors into the drilled
holes.

4. Wrap any excess of the straight portion of the power cord
into the dryer base as follows:
4. • Hold the dryer base up to the mounting location. Allow
enough cord length to reach the electrical outlet, then
route the remaining straight portion of the cord through
the cord slot at the bottom of the base and then through
the strain relief.
4. • Wrap the excess cord around the "cord wrap" inside the
base and route cord through the remaining strain relief
and out the cord slot at the bottom of the base.
4. NOTE: If the cord is not long enough to wrap, route the
cord only through the two strain reliefs to prevent theft of
hand unit.
5. Position the dryer base over the anchors in the wall and
mount the base to the wall with the two screws provided.
4. NOTE: Be sure the cord is still inserted into the cord slots
and is not pinched between the dryer base and the wall.
Tighten the screws until the base is securely mounted to
the wall.
6. Insert the screw cap over the bottom screw head in the base.
7. Plug the ALCI into the electrical outlet.
8. Insert the hand unit into the dryer base.
NOTE: If this unit will be sold or used in Quebec, Canada,
attach the enclosed French cord warning adhesive tag to the
hand unit cord next to the English tag. Do not cover the
English tag.
