Wiring XLR sockets: 1 ground, 2 “hot” and 3 “cold”. Never use any other power supply than the one supplied with the unit except of Pro-Ject Power Boxes which can replace original power supplies. -

Pro-Ject CD Box RS. Do not connect any other devices. You can find details in instruction manual for Pro-Ject CD Box RS. In 3 to In 9: Pre Box RS Digital offers 1 AES/EBU digital input (1x XLR) and 6 S/PDIF digital inputs (2x coaxial/RCA, 4x optical/Toslink). Digital sources like CD players, TV sets, satellite/cable receivers, streamers and also computers can be connected to these inputs. -

Sampling frequency LED indicators On the front panel 8 LEDs indicate current sampling frequency of the incoming digital signal. For playing DSD files a dedicated software player is required, which is also capable to play these files (for example JRiver Mediacenter, Foobar2000 etc.). Required settings for DSD: DSD Playback Method: DoP (DSD over PCM), DoP Marker 0x05/0xFA.
