Safety Instructions

The lightning flash with arrowhead,
within an equilateral triangle, is
intended to alert the user to the
presence of un-insulated
"dangerous voltage" within the
product's enclosure that may be
of sufficient magnitude to constitute
a risk of electric shock.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.
To prevent the risk of electric
shock, do not remove cover
(or back). Refer servicing to
a qualified service personnel.
To ensure the optimum performance, please read the manual carefully.
Keep it in a safe place for future reference.
Install your unit in a cool, dry, clean place away from windows, heat
sources, as well as too much vibration, dust, moisture or cold.
To prevent fire or electric shock, do not expose to rain or water.
Do not operate the unit upside down, it may overheat possibly causing
damage.
Never open the cabinet. If a foreign object drops into the set, contact
your dealer.
Do not use force on switches, knobs, or cords. When moving the set,
first turn off the unit, then gently disconnect the power plug and the
cords connecting to other equipment. Never pull the cord itself.
To prevent damage, pull out the cable cord and remove the antenna
cord during lightning storms.
Disconnect the AC power plug from the wall outlet when the unit will
not be used for an extended period of time.
Be sure to read the troubleshooting section on common operating
errors before concluding that your unit is faulty.

Safety Instructions
1.Do not remove the vacuum tube cover.
2.Do not touch with hands as oils from skin will damage the vacuum tubes.
3.Do not touch the vacuum tube as it maybe extremely hot.
4.The unit should be kept away from moisture and should not be used around or
near water.
5.The unit should be well situated so that its location or position does not interfere
with its proper ventilation. Items such as bookcases or cabinets may impede the
flow of air through the ventilation openings.
6.The unit should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves, or other apparatus that product heat. Do not place the unit near open flame,
such as fireplaces or candles.
7.The unit should be connected to a power supply as described in the User's manual
or as marked on the unit.
8.Power cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be stepped on or pinched
by items placed upon or against them.
9.The power cord of the unit should be unplugged
storms or when the unit is left unused for long periods of time.
10.There is a possibility that dew will form on the surface of the vacuum tube when the
unit is moved from a cool to a warm place. In these circumstances please wait at
least one hour to operate the unit to avoid leakage or a blowout of the vacuum tube.
11.The unit should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
a.The power supply cord or plug has been damaged;
or
b.Objects have fallen, or liquid has spilled into the unit;
or
c.The unit has been exposed to water or moisture;
or
d.The unit does not appear to operate normally
or exhibits a marked change in performance;
or
e.The unit has been dropped.
The user should not attempt to service the unit beyond
those means described in the User's manual.
