12. OPTIONAL PARTS

BATTERY

Use a battery rated at 12V, 18Ah or more.
Do not reverse polarity. Serious damage
NOTICE
to the engine and/or battery may occur.
WARNING
Keep all sparks, open flames, and smoking materials away from the battery.
Check the electrolyte level to be sure that. It is between the marks on the case. If the
level is below the lower mark, remove the caps and add distilled water to bring the
electrolyte level to the upper mark. The cells should be equally full.
OPTIONAL PARTS
A battery can explode if you do not follow the correct
procedure, seriously injuring anyone nearby.
