D onotconnecttheinputs/outputsofamplifiersorconsolestoanyothervoltagesource,such asbatteries,mainssourcesorpowersupplies,regardlessofwhethertheamplifierorconsoleis turnedONorOFF. Powerdownanddisconnectunitsfrommainsvoltagebeforemakingconnections. Donotusetheunitnearstoves,heatregisters,radiators,orotherheatproducingdevices. D onotoperateequipmentonasurfaceorinanenvironmentwhichmaydistortthenormalflowof airaroundtheunit.Iftheunitisusedinanextremelydustyorsmokyenvironment,theunitshould regularlybe“blownfree”ofdust. D onotremovethecover.Removingthecoverwillexposeyoutopotentiallydangerousvolt-ages. D onotdrivetheinputswithasignallevelhigherthanthatwhichisrequiredtodriveequipmentto fulloutput.
