v8 ROADSTER 30W
Thank you for choosing the V8 Four 30W point-to-point guitar amplifier. This amplifier is built to last and to give trouble free
operation with it's unique and warm V8 sound. The Eq is especially designed to stand out from the crowd and allow to find
your own distinctive "trademark" tone.
Main purpose of this amp design is to have the signal path as short as possible from your guitar to the speaker. This is why there
are only two ECC83 (12ax7) preamp and two EL-34 power tubes. Cathode biased power tubes allow you to change tubes
without any biasing and we've also installed gold plated tube sockets to maximise the playability for years to come.
Before using the unit, please read this user guide entirely for proper and safe operation. We wish you many great moments with
this unique product. - The V8 Team.

FET/TUBE Switch

To control the signal flow. Select TUBE if you want the signal path to contain only tubes. Select FET if you want to use the
additional FET preamp booster before tubes. This is useful when you need to boost your sound for solos etc. You can also
control this by connecting footswitch to it's jack on the back panel and keeping this switch in TUBE position.

hi / lo Switch

To control the input signal. Set this switch to lo position if you want as clean as possible sound. Hi settings gives more am-
plification and distortion. This is useful for getting clean sound from humbucker or high output pickups.

f.clip Switch

To control the fet channel distortion. Set this to up position if you want to have some fet distortion before the power tubes.
This is useful when you play with clean sound and want some distortion when switched to fet channel.

FET Knob

To control the FET channel volume. Use F.CLIP to add more distortion to the channel.

DRIVE Knob

To adjust the preamp gain. If you want the cleanest possible sound or just the output distortion keep this minimum and
adjust volume with the GAS knob.

LO Knob

To adjust the low eq.

MID Knob

To adjust the mid eq. The less you use MID the more you get bass. To get very full sound set LO to max and MID to min
and adjust HI to taste.
