Covert Clock Radio Digital Video Recorder
To Record Constant Video :
1) Plug the camera in to power, and turn the recorder on using the 'VR On/Off' button on the
top of the Clock Radio.
2) Ensure that a SD memory card has been inserted into the back of the Radio.
3) On the Infrared Remote Control, press the red 'REC' button. The camera should begin
recording immediately. Clips are recorded onto the SD memory card for playback.
To Record Video on Motion Detection mode :
1) Plug the camera in to power, and turn the recorder on using the 'VR On/Off' button on the
top of the Clock Radio.
2) Ensure that a SD memory card has been inserted into the back of the Radio.
3) Plug the camera in to a TV, Monitor, or other device using the RCA video inputs on the
camera cable. Switch your TV/Monitor to the video input you've plugged it into. You should
now see the camera image on the screen.
4) Open the camera menu by pressing the menu button on the Infrared Remote. Go down to
the 'schedule' menu and press enter to open it up.
5) Using the up/down and left/right buttons, set every hour to the icon depicting a running
man. This sets the camera to record when it sees motion all day long.
6) To adjust the motion detection sensitivity and the area of the screen to record motion, see
the record setup
To play back recorded video :
1) Plug the camera in to power, and turn the recorder on using the 'VR On/Off' button on the
top of the Clock Radio.
2) Ensure that a SD memory card has been inserted into the back of the Radio.

  • Page 3 Initial Connection The first thing that must be done with your new covert Clock Radio Camera is to connect it to a TV. It does not need to stay connected, this is only needed for the first-time initial setup.

    The circle on the left will have a rotating red section ONLY when the camera is currently recording. To the right, you will see an icon displaying the type of recording the camera is set up to perform. The following recording types will be displayed : Manual Recording Motion-Detection Recording Continuous Scheduled Recording...
  • Page 5 SET DATE/TIME : This sub-menu allows you to set the date and time of the camera. The date and time is always visible on the live image as well as on the playback. You can adjust the date, time, and format by using the left/right buttons on the remote.
  • Page 6 MANUAL RECORD : This sub-menu allows you to specify the quality of recordings when you are recording manually. To record manually, press the ‘Record’ button on the remote while looking at the live camera image. You can change the following options : Video Size : This is the resolution of the image.
  • Page 7 SD CARD OPTIONS : The options here allow you to configure how the camera records, what to do when the card is full, and allows you to clear the card of all recordings. Max File Size: This allows you to set how big to make each file.
  • Page 8 Playback There are three ways to play back video clips within the system. The first is to connect the camera to a TV using the yellow/white RCA plugs, and to hit the ‘Play/Pause’ button on the remote. The camera will immediately begin playing back the most recently recorded clip. When a clip finishes, it will move to the next most-recently recorded clip, one at a time.
