BEFORE USING THE REMOTE CONTROL:
Your remote control includes (1) lithium battery,
CR2025/3V.
The lithium coin battery used in this product contains
perchlorate material. Special handling may apply in the
state of California (USA). For more information, go to:
www.dtsc.ca.gov/hazardouswaste/perchlorate.
Please note this remote control will not work through walls.
NOTE: REMOVE THE PLASTIC TAB FROM THE
BATTERY PRIOR TO FIRST USE.
To Install or Replace Batteries:
1. Locate the battery cover on
the back of the remote control
handset. Slide the battery
cover out (Figure 5).
2. Place battery into battery
compartment (Figure 5).
3. Slide battery cover closed.
This Class B digital
apparatus complies with
Canadian ICES-003.
CAUTION: Due to risk of fire and burns, do not
recharge, disassemble, heat or incinerate. Keep battery
out of reach of children. Dispose of used batteries
promptly as per national, regional and local codes. Never
put batteries in mouth. If swallowed, contact your
physician or local poison center.
To operate the air purifier with your remote control:
1. Press the POWER button (
2. Select the filtering speed by pressing the SPEED button
(
) until you reach your desired speed setting (1-2-
3) or to select the air purifier in AUTO mode to activate
the Air Quality Particle Sensor feature.
3. Turn the ionizer ON or OFF by pressing the IONIZER
button (
).
4. Press the TIMER button (
purifier to turn off automatically after running a
defined time interval (from 1-8 hours).
5. Press the UV button (

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning The HEPA Filter
• Every few weeks, check the condition of the filter.
• After approximately 3 months of operation, a Filter
Service Indicator (
to alert you to clean the filter before further use.
To clean the filter:
1. Turn off and unplug the air cleaner.
2. Remove the air inlet grill.
3. Remove and examine the foam pre-filter. If it has
collected dust or lint, remove and wash it in warm
soapy water. Rinse and drip dry thoroughly before
placing it back into the grill inlet.
4. Check the condition of the filters and remove if dirty.
5. Clean the filter.
• Using your vacuum cleaner, run the brush
attachment along both sides of the filter and clean
between the pleated layers (Figure 6).
NOTE: Filter may appear
discolored, even after
vacuuming. This is normal
and does not affect
performance in any way,
therefore a new filter is
not necessary.
IMPORTANT: Do not use
water, household cleaners or detergents to clean the
filter.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock,
perform cleaning maintenance only as specified in these
operating instructions. DO NOT immerse in water or
other liquids. Wipe outer case with a dry cloth.
Reinstalling The Filter After Cleaning
1. Make sure the air purifier is turned off and unplugged.
2. Place the filter back into the air purifier housing. Ensure
that the metal tabs on the filter are facing towards the
unit (see Figure 7).
NOTE: Air purifier will not work if filters are not installed
correctly.
3. Place air inlet grill back onto unit securely. Air Purifier
will not operate if air inlet grill is not properly assembled.
