Operating Your Sprayer 1. Remove lid from tank. 2. Prepare spray solution following instructions provided with chemicals. 3. When sprayer is filled to correct mark on tank, close tank lid. 4. Put backpack blower/sprayer on your back and pressurize sprayer when ready for use. Assembly: Connect & Secure 1. Pump Hose and Duck Bill to Tank A. Slide screw cap over end of hose and press hose barb inside hose. B. Using end of hose with hose barb, press duck bill into place inside of tank fitting, then install small “o” ring between hose barb & duck bill. Tighten screw cap by hand.

Maintenance • Your sprayer pump “O” ring was lubricated with petroleum jelly. Keep it lubricated for longer “O” ring life with petroleum jelly or grease. • Release pressure from sprayer by slowly unscrewing fill cap on tank. Replacing Pump “O” Ring 1. Release pressure from sprayer by slowly unscrewing fill cap on tank, unscrew pump nut and pull out pump handle. 2.
Troubleshooting Pump Won’t Pressurize Tank 1. Make sure fill cap is tight 2. If the pump’s “O” ring is damaged or expired, replace it. 3. Check for leaks in all hoses. 4. Check that all hose connections are tight. Flow Control Leaks 1. Check that the extension’s “O” ring is not prevented from sealing by dirt or damage.
