- Gently pull up on the harness straps to tighten the lap section, which should fit low on the child’s body. - The 3-point-belt of the car is absolutely necessary to hold the Carrot 3 and to give the user the highest degree of security. - Page 22 WARNING ! It is your RESPONSIBILITY to use Vehicle’s Safety Belts at the same time. It is NOT enough to secure a child only with (5point) harness straps of the child seat, and is required by law to always use the vehicle’s lap shoulder (3point) safety belt at the same time to secure a child seat and child.
