    PRECAUTIONS Do not use the monitor near water, e.g. near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool or in a wet basement. Do not place the monitor on an unstable cart, stand, or table. If the monitor falls, it can injure a person and cause serious damage to the appliance.

    Remove Figure 1 Installing and Removing the Swivel Base Support Frame (only AL1716 h/AL1716 r) Do not perform a pulling or plugging action when the display is under slanting status to prevent the display from ejecting. Pull out the pin from the display support frame as per the figure and then adjust the height.

    CONTROLS AND CONNECTORS CABLE CONNECTIONS Turn off your computer before performing the procedure below. Plug the power cable of your monitor into a nearby outlet. Plug the other end of the power cord into the PC port. 2. Connect one end of the 15-pin VGA cable to the back of the monitor and connect the other end to the computer’s D-Sub port.

    • You are able to adjust the monitor’s angle from -5° to 15°. ADJUSTING THE VIEWING ANGLE(only for AL1716 h/AL1716 r) Your monitor features a multi-adjustable stand that will enable it move 100mm up/down (height adjustment), 2 5 degree forward/backward (tilt adjustment), 70 degree side/side (swivel adjustment).

    FRONT PANEL CONTROL • /Power Button: Press this button to turn the monitor ON or OFF, And display the monitor’s state. • Power Indicator: Green — Power On mode. Orange — Stand by mode. • MENU / ENTER : Activate OSD menu when OSD is OFF or activate/de-activate adjustment function when OSD is ON.
