    Before You Begin 1 Before You Begin Before you begin installing your new graphics card, please do the following. Record Your Card’s Serial and Part Numbers The serial number and 102 part number printed on the graphics card are required for product registration. They are located on a sticker on the back of the card, and are shown in boldface and underlined in the illustration below.

    The Card’s Power Supply 3 Installing Hardware This chapter will guide you through the physical installation of your new graphics card. The Card’s Power Supply Supplemental power is a basic consideration in the installation process. Your new ATI graphics card requires additional power that is supplemented from the computer’s main power supply.
