    • The mains valve can cause injury. Do not operate while not plumbed in. • The pump must connect directly to the rainsmart controller not the power point. If the pump is • connected to the power point the pump will run constantly, shortening the life of the pump and potentially running the pump dry.

    RAINSMART ‘PUMP BOX’ INSTALLATION GUIDE What is it? ‘Pump Box’ is basically your typical + Pump + RainSmart RainSmart Pump Box all in one, neatly and fully assembled for the ease of you, the consumer. The ‘Pump Box’ is used as a switch between Mains and RainSmart precious Tank water.

    The controller must be installed on a vertical surface using the supplied mounting brackets. Install the controller within 2 meters of a protected power supply and no more than 10 meters from the Tank and Float Switch or the Motorised Ball Valve unless extension cables are used. Connect wall mounting clips to RainSmart Control Box using smaller screws provided (SEE FIG.

    3. WIRING FLOAT SWITCH AND MOTORISED BALL VALVE The Float Switch and Motorised Ball Valve are low voltage for your safety.

    4. INSTALLING DUAL CHECK VALVE (SEE FIG. 1) The RainSmart comes with 1 x Dual Check Valve. The Dual Check Valve must be installed between the Mains water line and Motorised Ball Valve. The arrow provided on the Dual Check Valve must point towards the Motorised Ball Valve. Therefore the Dual Check Valve male end must be screwed into the Motorised Ball Valve female end.
  • Page 9 Rainsmart gives you the flexibility of setting a tank water reserve level. A reserve level is a level you set in the tank to signify the point at which the Float Switch is at its lowest point. You can set this reserve level at any height in the tank.

    RainSmart 2 Year Product Warranty RainSmart Australia Pty Ltd warrant that, when this product is used for the purpose it was designed, that it will be free of material and manufacturing defects at the time of original purchase. This warranty is limited to the cost of the product and does not cover third party costs including the cost of electricians, plumbers, etc.
