B. Remove piece B and apply a thin coating of mortar on the area you have traced. Use the same mortar mixture (see page 1) to attach. Make sure base is level. 3. Place fireplace side walls C and back wall D over base B. Do not use mortar in these joints.

4. Apply mortar mix over top edges of side and back walls, in preparation to receive the hood pieces. Place the base of the hood E on top of side walls C making sure it is level and aligned with side walls. 5.

8. Place hood piece G over piece F in the same fashion as the last. Place the 2 refractory brick bases B2 and B3 over base B, without mortar. 9. Grout all internal joints of the fireplace with the refractory grout (supplied with the kit).

To Complete: Build a brick or concrete enclosure around fireplace, and then apply the finishing materials, such as tiles, stones, bricks, granite or marble. Chimney System: Chimney pipe diameter will vary depending on the length of the entire chimney.
