    AUXILIARY FUNCTIONS TIME-OUT TIMER (TOT) Time-out Timer prevents the prolonged use of the same channel and energy waste resulting from continued transmission. If the radio continuously transmits signals for a period over the preset limit (set by your dealer, max time is 5 minutes), the transceiver will stop transmitting and a beep will sound.
