    1 Introduction Thank you for purchasing an A2B Electronics product. The MyM-3T is a revolutionary solution for reception and modulation of satellite transmitted TV-content into an analogue format suited for small SMATV networks where cost efficiency and high quality is required.

    4 IP settings The MyM-3T has an embedded web server allowing standard web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera etc.) to connect to the unit for settings and management. No controller software is needed. The MyM-3T has by default a static IP address for connecting your PC to the unit.
  • Page 7 4 IP settings (continued) Select [Use this IP adress] and write: 192.168.0.19 and select [Net mask] 255.255.255.0. Click [OK] and then click [Close]. NOTE! For PC with other Operating Systems (OS) than Windows, please consult the Owners manual for your PC for [IP/Network settings].

    5 Menus and settings All necessary settings can be made in the web GUI via a web browser. When first connection is made with the MyM-3T following overview menu will appear. 5.1 Overview menu [Current settings] Contains information of current input and output signals, if the tuners are locked to a signal, firmware version, bootloader version,...

    5 Menus and settings (continued) 5.2 Input settings As the MyM-3T contains 2 separate tuners, start by selecting [Tuner 1] for chosing tuner frequency for programs at Ch1 and Ch2 RF output. Click on the [Tuner 2] banner to select tuner frequency for program at Ch 3 RF output.

    5 Menus and settings (continued) 5.3 Output settings Modulation/ Band Start the output setup by selecting which band you want to use. You can select VHF-7, VHF-8 and UHF. VHF-7 and VHF-8 corresponds to 7 and 8 MHz bandwidth. After selection press [Set].

Teletext Charset Select appropriate characters for selected language. Audio Audio language Select which language to receive and transmit on the outgoing programs.

    5 Menus and settings (continued) 5.4 Service Management The MyM-3T contains 2 separate DVB-T tuners and totally 3 services can be selected for each of output channels, named [CH-1], [CH-2] and [CH-3]. The list of services presents all received services from both tuner inputs. When one program (service) is selected, the box in front of the program name changes colour to green.

  • Page 14 Remember to change settings if the default IP-address is used by other devices in your network. In case you have forgotten your IP-address please consult the A2B support web site and download free of charge our tool “IP-supporter”. This tool finds all MyM-3T and their respective IP-addresses available in your network.

    6 Menu settings with buttons The MyM-3T has a button menu system for changing settings and functionality. The menus are shown on the TV screen after buttons has been activated in the web ui (see Chapter 5.1 how to activate button menu).
  • Page 16 6 Menu settings with buttons 6.1.3 Channel search The first time the MyM-3T is installed you must do a channel search to tune in available digital channels. Before you start the search you must select the frequency raster that is used in your area. Connect the TV aerial before starting the channel search.
  • Page 17 6 Menu settings with buttons cont. 6.1.5 National – Subtitling continue 6.1.5.1 Type Use this menu to choose between normal subtitling or special subtitling for the hearing impaired. This offers enlarged subtitles and colour coded text. Alternatively all the subtitling can be switched off. The MyM-3T is preset to “Normal”.
  • Page 18 6 Menu settings with buttons cont. 6.1.6 National – Audio language This menu is used to set your preference for audio language, when a TV program is broadcast in more than one language. 6.1.7 National – Menu language This menu is used to set your preference for the language used in all menus in the MyM-3T.

    6 Menu settings with buttons cont. 6.2 Advanced settings In the advanced settings menu you will find settings for Aspect ratio, Output channels, Quality, Channel indicator, Output audio type, Loopthrough, CI1 and CI2. 6.2.1 Aspect ratio (Picture format) The picture format can be set to 4:3 or 16:9 (Widescreen).
  • Page 20 6 Menu settings with buttons cont. 6.2.3 Quality This menu is used to test the signal quality and the aerial reception quality. It may be necessary to adjust or upgrade the TV aerial to ensure good picture and sound on all channels. For more information see Chapter 8.2.3.1 Reception.
  • Page 21 6 Menu settings with buttons cont. 6.2.5 Channel indicator The MyM Channel indicator can be switched On or Off. When the channel indicator is On, a text box with ”MyM 1”, “MyM 2” and “MyM 3” will be shown in the upper right corner of the picture on the three output RF channels.
  • Page 22 6 Menu settings with buttons cont. 6.2.8 Audio setting In this menu the audio level can be adjusted between +6dB and -6dB for the three different RF outputs, Channel 1, Channel 2 and Channel 3. NOTE! You have to scroll up or down with the arrow buttons to be able to see and choose all possible settings.

    7 Installation and configuration The MyM-3T can be installed either as a stand alone unit directly on the wall or by the use of a dedicated MyM-3T Security Wall Mount (part number 702800.10). The MyM-3T Security Wall Mount secures both the MyM-3T and CAM-modules with a locking function to avoid loss of CAM’s and smart cards in public places.
