You can upgrade the firmware of your DigiMatic using a "Firmware upgrade CD-R" from ODIXION:
• Check that no jobs is running and insert the upgrade CD in the input stack
• Go to the menu [5 Info], and select [5.2 Upgrade with CD-R], confirm with the key [+]
• The DigiMatic will install the new firmware (this operation can take few minutes)
• Wait for the DigiMatic initialization phase to be completed
Caution: To check that the upgrade was done correctly, go to the menu [5 Info], then [5.4 Version] and
check the version number.

1. When the DigiMatic is
powered on, open the ink
cartridges access door, the
system will automatically put
the print head block under the
access door
2. Raise the lock lever.
Do not touch internal parts
other than the lock lever
3. Remove the protective cap
from the print head
Do not touch the print head
nozzles or electrical contacts.
Do not attempt to reattach the
protective cap once it has
been removed
4. Place the print head in the
holder

5. Lock the print head into
place by lowering the lever.
Do not touch the lock lever
once the print head has been
installed
6. Hold the ink cartridge as
shown in the diagram and
remove the protective cap
7. Insert the yellow ink
cartridge into the right hand
slot. Press the top until it
clicks into place
8. Use the same procedure to
install
the
cartridges
appropriate slots
Please check that the print
head lever is in the left hand
position
