ANTENNA ASSEMBLY Assembling the Reflector/AZ/EL Skew Cap Mount (Ref. Fig. 2.1) Place the reflector/AZ/EL Skew Cap Mount assembly (A/B) onto mast pipe as shown in Figure 2.1. Attach the Feed Support Arm Assembly to the Reflector (Ref. Fig. 2.1) R e m ove the nut and flat washer from the M8 x 60mm hex head bolt from the feed support (C) and insert the fe e d s u p p o rt into the socke t on the bottom of the reflector (B).

2.3-3 Grounding Instructions Ground according to the illustration below. C a ble ties are provided to secure the pre-attached feed ground wire (Refe r to Fig.2.3-3) to the ground pole, the non-penetrating mount mast, or the roof/wall mount mast.Use a Ground Wire (#8 AWG Copper) to connect from ground lug to approved gr o u n d .
III. ANTENNA ALIGNMENT Set the SKEW on AZ/EL Skew Skew Setting mount prior to installation. Refer to Example set the skew value written on Page 3. at 56˚ Loosen the (four) Skew locking bolts until they are just finger tight and rotate the AZ/EL Skew mount to align the indicator mark with correct number on skew scale, as shown in Fig.3.1.Scale...

Azimuth Refer to the azimuth value written on Page 3 for your satellite. Using a compass to find azimuth heading, rotate the antenna and mount, pointing it to the correct azimuth heading for your location and satellite. Tighten AZ/EL Skew mount clamp bolts until a slight resistance is reached when rotating antenna and mount. Slowly sweep the antenna in azimuth until a desired signal is found.
